ainsworth

trade show booth

Ainsworth is a leading manufacturer of OSB and concrete-forming panels. They wanted a trade show booth that would convey their brand message of leadership and innovation with a focus on quality products. The challenge was to differentiate them from a number of competitors with larger booth spaces and budgets to match. In addition, many of the competitive wood producers utilized product heavily in their booth construction, making it hard to distinguish between booth properties and product on offer.

Our strategy was to make a dramatic statement through color and lighting, and use height to create a larger presence. Drawing on modern exhibit techniques of fabric and bright white lights, we were able to create large structural elements cost effectively. Graphics and product displays change out for flexibility between shows, and the open floor plan allows for promotions and meeting area.

For PCBC and World of Concrete shows in 2006, pre-show promotional efforts centered around a fully operational safe. Attendees were invited to “crack the safe” and select a prize from within.

Results:

  • Ainsworth’s booth received strong traffic, significantly increased from previous years.
  • Safe promotion generated significant traffic, and allowed sales staff to qualify attendees while they were waiting to try cracking the safe.
